Position Overview
The Interventional Radiology RN provides comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, interventional, and therapeutic radiology procedures. Responsibilities include pre-procedure assessment, intra-procedural monitoring, and post-procedure recovery and patient education. Additional responsibilities may include:
Team lead duties
Precepting and orienting staff
Rapid response support
Collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
Additional clinical duties as assigned
Schedule
Full-Time | Monday – Friday | Day Shift (No On Call)
Qualifications Must be a U.S. Citizen Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required May be required to obtain and maintain Conscious Sedation Certification within 60 days of assignment Minimum of: 2 years of full-time Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology experience within the last 4 years
OR2 years of recent full-time ICU experience
